I am Ensieh Khazaei, a second-year Ph.D. student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the University of Toronto, supervised by Prof. Dimitrios Hatzinkos.
My research interests lie in federated learning and machine learning with applications in healthcare and biometrics. Currently, I am developing an efficient, secure, and robust Federated Learning (FL) framework for Human Activity Recognition (HAR).
Prior to Ph.D., I earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2018 and 2020, respectively. During my Master's, I focused on recognizing human emotions using functional brain connectivities.
